Zoo

Monday's snow did not stick around for long . . . today was a beautiful day - sunny and 74 degrees! We decided to take advantage of the nice weather, and went to the Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville. It is an open area zoo, with a 3.5 mile trail you drive your car through, and the animals roam free and will come up to your car windows hoping for food. We saw giraffes, zebras, a rhinocerous, water buffalo, camels, ostriches, wild pigs, and several other animals that we weren't quite sure what they were. Cass called every animal we saw a dog . . . he doesn't seem to understand exactly what dog means. At the end of the trail we went to a petting zoo.
