St. Jude Trike-a-thon

I'm behind on updating the blog again, so I'm going through pictures from the past month since my last post. Cass's preschool participated in the St. Jude Trike-a-thon. They learned tricycle safety during the week, and closed the week out with the trike-a-thon event . Here is his class, with the kids wearing their little helmets. Cass is the 4th one from the left in the navy shirt. His helmet must have been heavy - it looks like he is holding his head up with his hand.

I love Cass's teachers. This is Ms. Jennifer guiding him around the track. I think he got passed by a girl. The little boy that is walking with Ms. Jennifer is Cass's buddy Owen that lives just up the street from us.

Easter

Here's a few pictures from Easter. They had coordinating outfits, which would have made for a good picture together, but we never seemed to find a good time during the day when they were both in the photogenic mood. So this will have to do. :) I'll dress them up and try again another time.

Spring

I am so glad that spring is finally here! Celena has so many cute little dresses that she can wear now. :) I think this one with the little belt is so cute!!!

Disney World

We took a road trip down to Disney World last week. Above is a picture of someone having a little too much fun at Disney World. Let me explain. He picked out the adult-sized Cars-themed Mickey Mouse ears himself. On the back of his shoulder, you will see something white - this is one of the many Mickey Mouse stickers that he got for free from the workers at Magic Kingdom. And now for the best part - it got hot in the afternoon, and Cass was wearing jeans. So, while I was in the Baby Care Center feeding Celena, Daddy and Cass went on a mission to buy Cass some shorts. Apparently, for only $3 more than the cost of a pair of shorts, you can purchase a whole pajama outfit. Yes, that is right. My husband thought he was getting a deal and bought Cass PJ's, and put him in the PJ shorts while at Magic Kingdom. How hilarious is that??!! In the picture above, he is riding the train. Happy as can be in his whole get-up. I can't wait until he's 16 and I can show him this picture. :) I have included more pictures from our trip in a slideshow at the upper left corner of the blog page - click on the pictures and you can see them better.

Afternoon at the lake

Spring is finally here! It was a beautiful day on Saturday - temperatures in the upper 70's and sunny. We took the kids to a park at the lake - Cass had fun throwing rocks into the water. He was having so much fun and was constantly moving, I was lucky to be able just to get this picture of him! On Sunday morning, I asked what he wanted to do, and he said "play", and I asked him what he wanted to play and he said "throw rocks in water". So I guess he had a good time Saturday!

Here's our little girl and her Daddy. Happy as usual! :)

Here she is again. She stays still much more than Cass, which is why the majority of pictures lately tend to be of her. I need to take more profile pictures of her so you can see her cute little nose. Yes, that is right - believe it or not, I have a daughter with a cute nose (you all have seen MY nose - ha!). This picture doesn't show it that well, but she has a little turned-up nose.

Teething

As I mentioned in my last post, Celena's first tooth is coming in! She loves this little teether - I think she would chew on this 24 hours per day if she could!

St Patrick's Day

Two years ago, here was baby Cass in his "My 1st St. Patrick's Day" outfit. It's amazing how much he has changed since then.

And here's a picture from today, with Celena in her 1st St Patrick's Day outfit. You can't see it in the picture, but she is getting her first tooth! It doesn't seem to dampen her mood though, she is still happy as can be. I think it's fun to compare the kids at about the same time in their lives (Cass was just a month younger then Celena was on St Patrick's Day when the picture above was taken) - I think you can tell they are siblings, but they each have their own look. One of them really looks like Daddy . . .
